Club graphic

Following a series of regional qualifiers, the top girls’ school tag and touch rugby teams descended on the hallowed ground to battle it out. With schools from North, West and East Wales claiming titles, the event proved the undoubted talent throughout the country.

In the U13 Tag Rugby competition, Whitland’s Dyffryn Taf maintained an unbeaten run, finally defeating Treorchy 4-2 in the final.

At U16 age group, an incredible level of talent was on show, with a large number of teams looking like potential finalists. Eventually, Dyffryn Taf met Caernarfon’s Syr Hugh Owen, with the North Wales school triumphing 1-0.

The U19 competition was equally hotly contested with Plasmawr beating Bridgend schools by 2-0.
