JONES BACK FOR SCARLETS

Club graphic

Jones has not played a competitive game since injuring his groin during Wales’s RBS Six Nations victory over England in February – sitting out the Grand Slam and British Lions. But after a 40-minute run-out against an Army XV last weekend, Jones is now desperate to make up for lost time by helping Scarlets regain their Celtic crown.

“After such a long time out, I’m just desperate to get back out on the park and playing rugby again,” said Jones. “It has been pretty frustrating to sit and watch some big games, especially the Grand Slam game against Ireland. But now I’m feeling fresh and raring to go.”

Ex-British Lion Dafydd James and All Black centre Regan King also make their first full starts for the Scarlets while Edinburgh hand debuts to summer signings Francisco Leonelli, Peter Jorgensen and Matt Mustchin.
