EXILES SUPPLY TWO NEW CAPS TO NATIONAL SQUAD

Ben Broster of Saracens and Andrew Williams of Bath are the latest Welsh Exiles to represent Wales at senior level. Both playes made their debut as replacements in the win over the USA.
Broster then earned a start against Canada where he scored one of the tries. Williams also appeared against Canada as a second half replacement. With Tom Shanklin in New Zealand with the British and Irish Lions, Mike Ruddock’s selection of the two young Exiles showed an ever increasing faith in the players outside the principality.
Broster who has represented the Exiles at U16 through to U20 levels had already been capped at youth and U21. He was first identified at one of the Welsh Exiles assessment camps and following his success at youth level was recruited by Martin Jones into the Saracens U21 squad.
Ben has continued his development at Vicarage Road. Andrew Williams was spotted by the Exiles while studying at Colstons College. He has gained Welsh 7s recognition and has deserved his call up to the senior squad following a good season with Bath.
