Bargoed racked up their fifth win of the season with a 60-19 trouncing of Croesyceiliog, with scrum-half Mike Roberts scoring four tries. Centre Rhys Humphreys added two of his own and outside-half Jamie Howells added 14 points with the boot.

Senghenydd joined Pontypool United at the top of Division 3 East with an impressive 26-18 win over third-placed Rhymney, but they have played two more games than United. Senghenydd goal-kicker Alyn Ford was the man of the match with a try, four penalty goals and two conversions. At the other end of the table, Risca are still looking for their first win after a 31-3 loss at Abercarn.

In the only Division 3 South-East match on Saturday, Aberdare edged past bottom-placed Ruthin 13-7. Division 4 East leaders Newport HSOB and Garndiffaith both recorded wins, with the Old Boys thumping Trinant 20-0 and Garndiffaith edging Monmouth 24-17. In the other match, third-placed St Peters beat Talywain 22-13.

In Division 4 South-East, Penygraig were celebrating their first win of the season – an 18-10 result at home to Dowlais – while Llandaff beat a poor-performing Dinas Powys 36-0.

In Division 5 East, RTB Ebbw Vale are still looking for their first win of the season after falling 44-3 at second-placed Gwernyfed, while top-placed Bettws remain unbeaten after a 24-10 win at mid-table Usk. Abertillery shut out Lanhilleth 23-0 thanks to tries from fullback Dean Thomas, prop Dan Meredith and flanker Elliot Long, and Blaenavon kept in touch with the League leaders with a 28-3 win at struggling Ynysddu.

In Division 5 South-East, Ferndale beat Old Penarthians 38-18 and Cefn Coed produced a surprisingly easy 38-0 victory at South Wales Police.

 
In the West divisions, Division 3 West club Aberystwyth smashed Pembroke Dock Quins 77-0, while Haverfordwest accounted for Tumble 38-9.

Division 3 South-West cellar dwellers Alltwen are wondering where their first win is coming from after a 40-0 home loss to Skewen, while second-placed Nantyffyllon produced a handy 17-5 victory at Brynamman and Cymgors beat fellow mid-table side Cwmavon 22-11.

Pontarddulais are continuing on their merry way in Division 4 West, winning their seventh straight match with a 43-27 result at Llandeilo and extending their lead on the table to eight points. In other matches, Milford Haven beat Cardigan 27-8, Ammanford accounted for Fishguard 26-3, Cefneithen beat Llandybie 20-10 and Pembroke recorded a 16-0 home victory over Neyland.

Division 4 South-West leaders Pontycymmer edged ahead of the chasing pack with a 21-14 win over Aberavon Green Stars, while Division 5 West club Burry Port are six from six after a 24-13 result at Bynea.

In the battle of the winless sides, St Davids beat St Clears 19-5, while Aberaeron were surprise 36-10 winners at home to Penygroes.

Ystradgynlais botched a chance to close the gap on unbeaten Division 5 South-West leaders Neath Athletic when they were pipped 27-25 by Porthcawl. Elsewhere, Pyle fell to their sixth straight loss – 33-18 to Rhigos – while Pontardawe fans were celebrating their first win of the season after an exciting 33-28 victory over Crynant.
