Cardiff Blues make five changes from the team that defeated the Ospreys on Thursday for the Celtic League match against the Dragons on Tuesday (kick off 4.10pm). Craig Morgan moves to the right wing and Tristan Davies, Jonah Lomu, Ryan Powell, Robin Sowden-Taylor and Craig Quinnell make the starting XV in a strong line-up that should attract a large crowd.

The Dragons have also made five changes for the match. Coach Paul Turner has named an unchanged back division while there is a completely new front row with David Maddocks, Andrew Brown and Gethin Robinson all starting.

In the back row Andrew Hall comes in at blindside flanker while development flanker Chris Davies will make his first start for The Dragons at open side. Michael Owen will captain the side.

“Somehow we need to get back up as the defeat to the Scarlets was by far our most woeful performance of the season,” Turner said. “We’ll be back on the training field Monday to get ready for Tuesday’s game at the Arms Park.

“It’s a short turnover but we’ve got to face that and the boys have been told that in no uncertain terms.”
