The region won 19-13 when the sides met earlier in the season, but since then, the Blues have lost out to the Ospreys and Dragons.

High Performance Manager Gafyn Cooper said, “We were disappointing in the game against the Dragons, but hopefully we can produce the kind of performance that earned us our victory at the Scarlets.”

In the other game it’s first against second with the unbeaten Ospreys making the trip to Abertillery to face the Dragons (kick-off 7.15pm). What’s more, for the Dragons, tonight’s game at The Park provides an opportunity to get even with the region who defeated them 31-3 on the opening day of this season’s competition.

Danny Ellis kicked a single penalty at Llandarcy Academy on the night as the Dragons were wiped away by an Ospreys side who have gone on to win their second and third games, against the Scarlets and Blues respectively.

The Dragons, who won their second game, 13-10 against the Scarlets, followed up that victory with a resounding 27-3 defeat of the Blues three weeks ago. Victory for the Ospreys would clinch a place in the final.
