Powell has been an instant hit in the Under Armour jersey of Wales, thanks to a series of dynamic performances in his favoured No. 8 shirt.
The Blues player carried off the Invesco Perpetual Man of the Match award on his debut against South Africa, and again, was a pivotal player as his side sent the Austalian’s packign on Saturday.
He said: “It’s been the best four weeks of my life. To get the call up and play in three big games is something else.
“It doesn’t get any better than playing the three Tri-Nations sides.”
He hailed Wales’ fantastic win over Australia after the Wallabies prodcued a strong second half fightback to end the match trailing by just three points.
“We said at the start of the campaign we had to beat one of the three Tri-Nations sides and we’ve done it against Australia.
“The boys have worked hard over the last four weeks and it is a great credit to everyone involved in the team.”
