The former Cardiff Under-21 stalwart returned to the Arms Park last month and has extended his Blue & Blacks’ career record to 651 points and at Sardis Road will make his 94th first team appearance.

Elsewhere in the side, changes are kept to a minimum after the first Premiership victory in Llanelli last Saturday. The only adjustments to the starting line-up are in the pack where Ashley Sweet and Garry Horrigan come in for Matthew Veater and Rhys James.

James Down played his one-hundredth game for the club last week.

Cardiff: Craig Morgan; Ryan Howells, Richard Jones, Darren Ryan, James Loxton; Chris Anderson, Tom Slater; Ian George, Garry Horrigan, Kristian Gay, Ashley Sweet, James Down, Jamie Ringer, Adam Powell, Rhys Shellard (captain)

Replacements: Leighton Davies, Daniel Matthews, Matthew Veater, Dan Godfrey, Garyn Lucas, Lee Jarvis, Owen Williams
