Wanderers seach for elusive win

Beleaguered Glamorgan Wanderers have made a number of changes for their clash against Swansea as they continue their search for a victory against Swansea in the Principality Premiership.

“We have massive respect for Swansea but at this moment the emphasis is on ourselves as we strive for our first win of the season, ” commented Wanderers coach Chris Ower.

“I’m excited to be back and keen to get my season started with a win,” added captain Lee Highgate as he takes his place in the starting line-up for the first time.

In an effort to find a winning formula the Wanderers coaching team make 10 changes to their starting line-up.

Into the backline Owen Marshall returns at fullback, Ceri Llewellyn comes in on the left wing, Tom Rowlands starts at nine and Rhys Howells comes in at outside centre after returning to the country after playing in New Zealand.

In the pack Ryan Prosser, Richard Thomas and Nick Hampson return after missing the Llandovery game and Lee Highgate, the club captain, gets a first start after proving his fitness in the Development Squad.
