He has held his post at Crymych since the club was formed in 1984 and is also currently the Chairman of the Pembrokeshire and District Rugby Union.

Gordon Eynon replaces Johnny Jones of Pembroke RFC who has decided to step down after being the District H representative on the main board of the WRU since his election in May 1993.

Johnny Jones will retain his close association with West Wales rugby and will continue in his existing role as a committee member of Pembroke RFC.

His tenure as a board member of the WRU has coincided with major changes and developments such as the introduction of the professional game, the building of the Millennium Stadium and the formation of the four Regional Organisations in Wales.
