Fans from East and West will be able to get their tickets with their grocery shopping for ‘Judgement Day’ – the new Welsh double-header derby day featuring Dragons v Scarlets and Blues v Ospreys at the national home of rugby.

The greatest regional rugby ticket in town are on public sale at the customer service desks of over thirty Tesco stores representing all four rugby communities*.

Tickets will be available across all price categories (£25 for adults, £10 for U18s and £50 for families; 2 adults, 2 children) so that all regional rugby supporters can enjoy the most convenient and cost-effective route to Millennium Stadium tickets.

WRU Head of Sales and Marketing Craig Maxwell is delighted to launch Judgement Day tickets at Tesco, after thousands of fans snapped up tickets to Wales’ Autumn Internationals at the popular supermarket chain earlier this season.

“Rugby fans across Wales have been buying their international tickets at Tesco stores for a number of years and I’m pleased that we are continuing to work with the local supermarkets to bring Judgement Day tickets directly the local communities of all four Welsh rugby regions,” said Mr Maxwell.

Tickets are also available at wru.co.uk/tickets and via Newport Gwent Dragons and Cardiff Blues (both playing their home fixtures at the Millennium Stadium) yet for rugby supporters in the Ospreys and Scarlets regions, Tesco stores may well be the most convenient ticketing source.

He added: “We want all regional rugby supporters to come to Cardiff for the first Judgement Day event on Saturday 30 March and so it’s important that tickets are available across Blues, Dragons, Ospreys and Scarlets regions. I urge everyone, East and West, to take advantage of the Tesco stores initiative as well as the WRU website and ticket offices at Cardiff Arms Park and Rodney Parade.”
