Below are the results of the WRU Disciplinary Panel meeting held on 31 January 2017

Sending off sufficient for receiving two yellow cards for technical offences.  Aaron Harris may continue playing the game.  
 
Dunvant RFC v Pontypool RFC – Ryan Christopher Shoemark – 14-Jan-17 – Law 10.4.A                       
Lower End (LE).  One (1) week suspension (initially 2 weeks but 1 week deduction for the player’s clean disciplinary record).  Ryan Shoemark may resume playing on 8 February 2017.

Lower End (LE).  One (1) week suspension (initially 2 weeks but 1 week deduction for the player’s clean disciplinary record).  Robert Junior Nash may resume playing on 8 February 2017. 
 
Flint RFC v Llanidloes RFC – James David Elder – 14-Jan-17 – Two Yellow Cards                      
Mandatory one (1) week period of suspension for receiving two yellow cards in the same match (foul play).  James David Elder may resume playing on 8 February 2017. 
 
Pantyffynon RFC v Furnace United RFC – Lee Andrew Griffiths – 14-Jan-17 – Law 10.4.S/M                              
Lower End (LE).  Six (6) week suspension (no mitigating or aggravating factors).  Lee Andrew Griffiths may resume playing on 15 March 2017. 
 
Baglan RFC v Crynant RFC – Aaron Lewis  – 7-Jan-17 – Law 10.4.S/M                           
Having listened to representations from the player, Hon Secretary, as well as the referee, the Panel felt that on the balance of probabilities, the case was not proven and Aaron Lewis may continue playing the game (personal hearing).
 
Heol y Cyw RFC v Mountain Ash RFCKieron Davies – 14-Jan-17 – Law 10.4.A                       
Top End (TE).   Ten (10) week suspension (initially 12 weeks but 2 weeks deduction for the player’s clean disciplinary record and apology).   Kieron Davies may resume playing on 12 April 2017. 
 
Porthcawl RFC v Bryncethin RFC – Sean Wilcox – 14-Jan-17 – Law 10.4.E                   
Lower End (LE).  Five (5) week suspension (initially 6 weeks but 1 week for the player’s clean disciplinary record).  Sean Wilcox may resume playing on 8 March 2017.  
 
Porthcawl RFC v Bryncethin RFC Mark Thomas – 14-Jan-17 – Law 10.4.A                               
Mid Range (MR).   Three (3) week suspension (initially 4 week suspension but 1 week deduction for the player’s clean record).  Mark Thomas may resume playing on 22 February 2017.

Lower End (LE).  Four (4) week suspension (initially 6 weeks but 2 weeks deduction for the player’s clean disciplinary record and apology).  Sam Barrett may resume playing on 1 March 2017. 
 
Hartridge 2nd RFC v Pill Harriers 2nd XV RFCTerry Powell – 14-Jan-17 – Law 10.4.B                         
Lower End (LE).  One (1) week suspension (initially 2 weeks but 1 week deduction for the player’s clean disciplinary record).  Terry Powell may resume playing on 8 February 2017.
 
Treherbert RFC v Abercwmboi RFC – Ross Barclay – 7 Jan-17                         
Having listened to representations from the player, Hon Secretary, as well as the referee, the Panel felt that on the balance of probabilities, felt the case was not proven and Ross Barclay may continue playing the game (personal hearing).
