Below are the results of the WRU Disciplinary Panel meeting held on 16 February 2017

Beaufort RFC v St Julians HSOB RFC – Aron Thompson – 28-Jan-17 – Law 10.4.A                    
Lower End (LE).  One (1) week suspension (initially 2 weeks but 1 week deduction for the player’s clean disciplinary record).    Aron Thompson may resume playing on 24 February 2017. 
 
Llanrumney RFC v Whitchurch RFC – Christopher Omar – 28 Jan-17 – Law 10.4.A                  
Mid Range (MR).   Three (3) week suspension (initially 4 weeks but 1 week deduction for the player’s clean disciplinary record).  Christopher Omar may resume playing on 10 March 2017. 
 
Ruthin RFC v Bala RFCDochan Roberts – 28-Jan-17 – Law 10.4.B                               
Mid Range (MR). Five (5) week suspension (initially 6 weeks but 1 week deduction for the player’s clean disciplinary record).   Dochan Roberts may resume playing on 24 March 2017. 
 
Llandybie RFC v Aberaeron RFCJohn Jenkins – 28-Jan-17 – Two Yellow Cards (Law 10.4.E)                             
One (1) week suspension (two yellow cards – foul play).  John Jenkins may resume playing on 24 February 2017.
 
Tregaron RFC v Pembroke RFCDominic Colman- 28-Jan-17- Law 10.4.A                
Mid Range (MR).  Five (5) week suspension (initially 6 weeks but 1 week deduction for the player’s clean record).  Dominic Colman may resume playing on 24 March 2017. 
 
Penlan RFC v Cwmgors RFCCarwyn Williams – 28-Jan-17 – Law 10.4.S/M                             
Mid Range (MR).  Ten (10) weeks (initially 12 weeks but 2 week deduction for the player’s clean disciplinary record and apology attempt).  Carwyn Williams may resume playing on 28 April 2017.

Lower End (LE).  Two (2) week suspension (initially 4 weeks but 2 weeks deduction for the player’s clean disciplinary record and apology).  Adam Goodwin may resume playing on 3 March 2017.
 
Caerleon RFC v Nantyglo RFC- Curtis Ayling- 28-Jan- 17- Law 10.4.E                          
Mid Range (MR).   Five (5) weeks (which includes dangerous tackling of opponent, as well the verbal abuse towards the referee (Law 10.4.S/M. – Verbal abuse of match official/acts contrary to good sportsmanship) (initially 6 weeks but 1 week deduction for the player’s clean disciplinary record).  Curtis Ayling may resume playing on 24 March 2017.
 
Tonyrefail RFC v Cardiff Saracens RFCRobert Jones – 28-Jan-17 – Law 10.4.A                      
Mid Range (MR).  Two (2) week suspension (initially 4 weeks but 2 weeks deduction for the player’s apology and clean disciplinary record).  Robert Jones may resume playing on 3 March 2017.
 
Tonyrefail RFC v Cardiff Saracens RFC – Ethan Christopher – 28-Jan-17 – Law 10.4.A                            
Lower End (LE). Three (3) week suspension (initially 4 weeks but 1 week deduction for the player’s clean disciplinary record).   Ethan Christopher may resume playing on 10 March 2017. 
 
Tref y Clawdd RFC v Hollybush RFCThomas Hancock – 28-Jan-17 – Law 10.4.A                   
Having carefully considered the referee’s report, the Panel noted that Thomas Hancock had struck his own player accidently/recklessly, the Panel determined to take no further action other than to expunge the red card from the player’s record.  Thomas Hancock may continue playing the game.

Pontarddulais RFC v Tenby United RFC – Nicholas Hopkins  – 28-Jan-17 – Law 10.4.A                          
The Panel determined to take no further action and Mr. Hopkins may continue playing the game.  The red card will remain on the player’s record.
 
Pontarddulais RFC v Tenby United RFC- Scott James – 28-Jan-17- Law 10.4.A                        
the Panel determined to take no further action and Mr. James may continue playing the game.  The red card will remain on the player’s record (personal hearing).
