Taylor took over as head coach at the Division 2 North club this season and they head to RTB Ebbw Vale on the back of an 83-8 home win over Abergele in Round 2. Division 3 East A side RTB are currently fourth in their division having lost only once.

Another Division 3 East A side, Oakdale, have home advantage over Swansea Uplands, while Pentrych will meet Gwernyfed for the second weekend in a row having won there 44-15 in the league last weekend.

There are only 22 clubs in the third round as 21 have been awarded byes to help create a final 32 in round four. Among those with byes are former champions Amman United (2017) and Clwb Rygbi Cymry Caerdydd (2014).
