After lifting the WRU Youth Bowl last season, Ystrad’s Youth side will look to life the prestigious trophy but will have tough opposition in Cardiff Met in the semi final.

The Young Archers ran out 32-14 winners against Rumney Youth, who themselves have been Youth Cup finalists for the past two seasons, as they aim to make the final once again after a dramatic 13-6 defeat to Cowbridge in 2016.

Morriston Youth and Brecon Youth, who were impressive in their nail-biting defeat of Pontypridd Youth in their quarter-final tie, will contest the second semi-final.

In the Plate Competition, Nelson needed two late tries to see off Divisional rivals Bargoed and will now play Cardiff Quins for a place in the final whilst Penallta take on Haverfordwest in the other tie.

There will definitely be an Ospreys representative in the Final of the Bowl as regional rivals Resolven and Cwmavon were drawn against each other with Tenby United taking on Pentyrch to determine the opponents.

All ties are to be played on Saturday 23rd March.
