The funeral of the one-time Llanelli and Cardiff ace, who later played for and captained Pentyrch, will be held at Thornhill Crematorium, in Cardiff, at 2pm that day. Because of current restrictions only a very small number of people can attend in person.
However, the cortege will call at the car park at Pentyrch Rugby Club at 1.00 pm. This will allow any friends who wish to do so to come to pay their respects and say a final farewell to do so in a COVID-compliant environment.
The service at Thornhill will also be streamed live at the club for anyone who would like to share in the experience. It will also be available to live stream at home on a laptop, tablet or telephone. Details of the link and password are below.
Brian’s family have also opened a Just Giving page opened for those who would like to make a donation in memory of a very special person. All donations will be shared between the family’s two chosen charities, Alzheimer Cymru and Heart Failure Endowment Fund (No 9468 ) at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
