They currently hold a slender one-point lead at the top of the table but second placed St Peter’s comprehensive 32-5 victory over Rhiwbina has put significant pressure on them. A Hugh Humphreys try for Rhiwbina wasn’t enough as Ryan Newton, Sam Newton, Jack Roberts, and Harry Thorpe all crossed for tries for St Peters.

Brynmawr won an enthralling contest 22-21 over Senghenydd in a fiercely contested Division One East fixture.  Wingers Josh Congreve and Ryan Gardner scored from attacking phases followed by passing out to the wings which proved to be the difference as Brynmawr sneaked a significant away win.

In Division One North COBRA moved to the top of the table after a hard fought 7-0 home win over Pwllheli.  This was one for the purists with very little attacking rugby played.

The difference between both sides was a penalty try which COBRA were awarded courtesy of their dominant scrum which had Pwllheli on roller skates throughout. Also, in Division One North Bethesda claimed an impressive 17-5 away win over Bro Ffestiniog.

Llangennech continued their unbeaten start to Division One West with a 10 try thrashing of Pembroke. This 65-19 winners ensured the west Walians stay at the top of the table going into Christmas. Llangennech are now six points clear of second placed Newcastle Emlyn who secured a big 41-18 win over Aberystwyth.

Tries from Tom Evans, Sam Melmoth (twice), Rhys Davies (twice), Callum Jenkins, Kalum Evans, Craig Thomas, Callum Price, and Tom Neale was enough to see off Pembroke. Callum Price, Tom Evans, and Tom Neale also contributed 15 points between them from the kicking tee. The defeat leaves Pembroke still without a win so far.
