Sixth-placed Swansea held grimly to a 13-8 interval lead until skipper Gareth Jones settled the match with an injury-time try. Newport hold third-place, but the first half against Bedwas at Rodney Parade was pointless until the Black and Ambers ran in three tries to gain a 22-3 victory.
 
Pontypridd could not kick conversions, but they ran in six tries to defeat Caerphilly  by 36-20 at Sardis Road. wing Richard Fussell led the way with a brace of tries, while Stuart Thomas kicked 12 points for the Cheesemen. Cardiff upset the form book as they trounced Cross Keys by 44-13 at the Arms Park with Keys having prop Darren Crimmins red-carded. Leon Andrews scored two of Cardiff’s six tries and Chris Anderson contributed 14 points.
 
Pontypool gained an important 38-11 win over Gwwent rivals Newbridege in the lower half of the division. Pooler scored five tries with wing Jonathan Williams gaining one and adding 13 points with the boot. Bridgend were too strong for neighbours Llanharan as they won by 29-6 at the Brewery Field and the losers have not scored a try in their last three league outings. Centre Ryan Howells led the way for  Bridgend with two of their five tries.
