“We need the players to front up as they did at Newport on Tuesday and give our supporters something to cheer about,” he added.

With Llandovery holding a vital playoff place they will be keen to record the double over the Wanderers who still haven’t won a league game since Boxing Day.

Hodges makes three changes to the back division with Under 20’s star Dan Fish returning and he is joined by Robin Lock and Charlie Johnson who returns after an enforced five-week layoff.

In the pack James Richards, Mark O’Leary and Tom Evans start with Richard Thomas moving from the second row to the blind-side.

Carl Kimber who came off the bench on Tuesday after five minutes retains his place at Number 8.
