There is clear daylight between himself and the chasing pack now as the Steelman gallops towards the 200-point mark. He has now accumulated 181 points to jump clear of Josh Phillips who is now in second place as the highest point scored in the Indigo Prem having leap frogged Pontypool’s Matthew Jarvis.
Phillips has 169 points next to his name, to be nine points clear of Jarvis who has now nestled into third place. RGC’s Sam Earl-Jones becomes the fifth player to reach a century of points in the Indigo Prem with 102 points.
Merthyr’s Ben Jones joins Newport’s Lloyd Lewis at the top of the try scoring charts with nine. Black & Amber winger Oli Andrew is close behind with eight tries while Taylor Davies is a new name on the charts as he is tied for third alongside Rhys Francis with seven tries apiece.
Bridgend may have only claimed six wins in the Indigo Prem this season but that hasn’t stopped full back Edd Howley from shining. No stranger to scoring brilliant individual tries, he is proving a real threat with ball in hand for the Ravens this season. He has made more line-breaks (13) than any other player and has beaten more defenders (54).
