Division Four East pacesetters Blaenavon and Talywain have been drawn to face each other in round three of the SWALEC Bowl.

Both sides are locked together at the top of the division and both will be eager to make progress in the Bowl.

Blaenavon beat Trefil 33-3 at the Recreation Ground in round two while Talywain proved they could win on their travels by defeating Llanhilleth 33-9. A quirk of the fixture list shows the clubs meeting once again in the league in the week following the cup.

Monmouth are unbeaten in Division Five East but they will be tested to the full when they travel to Chepstow of division Four East. But with two league defeats already at their Upton Memorial Ground, the hosts may be hard-pressed to keep out their visitors.

St Clears are having a good season in Division Five West with seven wins and a draw from their eight outings giving them a three point lead at the top of the division. They travel to Milford Haven of Division Four West who are also doing well with only two defeats to date. St Clears were run very close by Fishguard in round two before emerging 11-10 winners and this tie looks like being just as close.

Deri have lost all eight Division Five South East matches this season and their trip to Hollybush of Division Seven could be their best chance of getting their season back on track. With only one league defeat to date, Hollybush will have other ideas and the Broncos may have to wait for that victory a little longer.

Abertysswg of Division Five South East will meet either Oakdale or RTB Ebbw Vale who play their postponed cup match this weekend, while the same applies to Caerleon who will entertain the winners of the Whiteheads and Crickhowell match. Both games were postponed because of waterlogged pitches last week.
