Cross Keys inflicted the shock of the weekend in the Principality Premiership, defeating league leaders Llandovery 13 -0. Their win was inspired by their captain Robert Nash, who scored the only try of the game.

Second placed Aberavon could not take full advantage of Llandovery’s slip up, only managing a draw against Bridgend. Luke Morgan’s 10th try of the season helped Bridgend come back from a seven point deficit at half-time to secure the draw.

Tom Williams’ record equalling six tries helped Cardiff on their way to a comfortable victory over bottom side Tonmawr. Centre Cory Allen and winger Mathew John got Cardiff’s two other tries in their impressive 50-11 win.

A late try from scrum half Sean Hopkins ensured victory for Llanelli in their game against Pontypridd. The match was tied 10 each at half-time, but it was Llanelli’s clinical finishing after the break that helped them to a 24-16 victory.

Neath put last week’s loss against Munster A behind them to gain a bonus point win over Bedwas and rise to third in the table. Full back Alec Jenkins and winger Kevin James contributed a try each for the Welsh All Blacks

A superb performance from fly-half Sam Davies inspired Swansea’s 21-16 victory over Newport. Davies got 16 points in total with full back James Dixon completing Swansea’s scoring.

Pontypool remain second-last after losing 26-6 to Carmarthen Quins. Tries from No 8 Craig Everett and flanker Ellis Lloyd helped Quins on their way to a bonus point win.
