The Division 6 East side weren’t daunted by traveling to take on opposition two leagues higher than them and fought hard for a well-deserved victory.

Nantyglo and Abertysswg have both only suffered one defeat in the Division 4 East so far and it was a predictably tight game in the Valleys. Nantyglo, who are currently top of the league, did just enough to see off their hosts, winning 10-11.

In North Wales, Mold hosted Shotton Steel looking to repeat their 40-24 win at in the league. It was an even more emphatic victory this time around, with the side who are second in Division 2 North cruising to a 43-0 triumph.

Glyncoch were unable to find the form which saw them defeat Canton 102-7 in the last round as they limped to a 14-3 defeat against Llantwit Major. The Division 4 South East Rivals meet again next weekend and Glyncoch will be hoping they can at least produce a better display against their lower-placed rivals.

St Clear’s found it hard going last time out against Nantgaredig and things didn’t get any better this time around at home to Lampeter. The difference in class between the Division 5 West and Division 4 West sides was evident as the visitors ran out 8-60 victors.
