Japan tour tests to be broadcast live

Wales’ forthcoming two test tour of Japan will be broadcast live following a joint deal between BBC Cymru Wales and S4C.

Robin McBryde’s side face Japan in Osaka on Saturday 8 June and then in Tokyo seven days later and both matches will be broadcast live on television in Wales as well as live on radio and online.

The first test (Saturday 8 June, KO 14.00 (local) 06.00 (BST)) will be live on BBC One Wales, BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Cymru and online. The full match will then be shown later in that day with a choice of Welsh or English commentary on S4C.

The following weekend, the second test (Saturday 15 June, KO 14.00 (local) 06.00 (BST)) will be live on S4C with Welsh or English commentary available and live on BBC Radio Cymru, BBC Radio Wales and online.  Highlights of the match will be shown on Scrum V on BBC Two Wales that evening.
