Last Saturday the Quins got back to winning ways with a bonus point win at home against Bridgend Ravens (36-21).

Carmarthen are in third position in the league on 44 points whilst Sunday’s rivals are currently in seventh place on 30 points. However, Llanelli have two games in hand and will be well aware that two good wins will close the gap considerably and improve their current standing in the Premiership.

The last time the two sides met was on 27th September 2015 at Carmarthen Park where they produced a thrilling game that was a credit to the Premiership. On that occasion the Quins won by 30-26.

Llanelli after a couple of disappointing losses to Cross Keys and Bedwas will want their campaign back on track and of course will not want Carmarthen doing the double over them for the second consecutive season. It promises to be another excellent and close fought affair.

There are three changes to the Quins back line with Rhys Williams returning to inside centre. Morgan Griffiths drops to the bench but can consider himself unlucky not to start after a first class performance last week. Craig Evans and Rhodri Wells return at half back for Dan Jones and Kieran Hardy who are Wales under 20’s duty.

In the forwards Ellis Lloyd, Rhodri Clancy and Javan Sebastian start.
