Below are the results of the WRU Disciplinary Panel meeting held on 18 October 2016

Harlech RFC v Menai Bridge RFC – Kearon Thomas (24-Sep-16) – Law 10.4.A           
Lower End (LE).  One (1) week suspension (initially 2 weeks but 1 week deduction for the player’s clean disciplinary record).  Kearon Thomas may resume playing on 26 October 2016. 
 
Penygraig RFC v Cowbridge RFC – Rhys Lock (03-Sep-16) – Law 10.4.A       
Mid Range (MR).  Eight (8) week suspension (initially 10 weeks but 2 weeks deduction for the player’s apology and clean record).  Rhys Lock may resume playing on 14 December 2016.
 
Risca RFC v Brynmawr RFCMatt Cross (24-Sep-16) – Law 10.4.B               
Mid Range (MR). Three (3) week suspension (initially 5 weeks but 2 weeks deducted for the player’s clean disciplinary record and apology). Matt Cross may resume playing on 9th November 2016. 
 
Crymych RFC v Llanelli Wanderers RFC – Jake George Jenkins (1-Oct-16) – Two Yellow Cards          
The Panel determined to impose the mandatory one (1) week period of suspension for receiving two yellow cards in the same match.  Jake George Jenkins may resume playing on 26 October 2016.
 
Brynmawr RFC v Brecon RFCAdam Hoskins (1-Oct-16) – Two Yellow Cards         
The Panel determined to impose the mandatory one (1) week period of suspension for receiving two yellow cards in the same match.  Adam Hoskins may resume playing on 26 October 2016.
 
Loughor RFC v Llangennech RFC – Timothy Lethbridge Butler (24-Sep-16) – Law 10.4.A     
Mid Range (MR).  Six (6) week suspension (initially 5 week suspension but aggravated by 2 weeks for the fact the player swore at the referee as he walked off the pitch but the Panel then deducted 1 week for the player’s clean disciplinary record).  Timothy Lethbridge Butler may resume playing on 30 November 2016.
 
Blaina RFC v St Julians HSOB RFC – Joe Roberts (1-Oct-16) – Law 10.4.S/M              
Lower End (LE).  Five (5) week suspension (initially 6 weeks but 1 week deduction for the player’s clean disciplinary record).  Joe Roberts may resume playing on 23 November 2016.
 
Penclawdd RFC v Waunarlwydd RFCCraig Paul Jenkins (24-Sep-16) – Two Yellow Cards 
The Panel determined to impose the mandatory one (1) week period of suspension for receiving two yellow cards in the same match.  Craig Paul Jenkins may resume playing on 26 October 2016.

Penlan RFC v Tondu RFC – Kurt John Velardo (24-Sep-16) – Law 10.4.C      
Lower End (LE). Three (3) week suspension (initially 4 weeks but 1 week deduction for the player’s clean disciplinary record).  Kurt John Velardo may resume playing on 9 November 2016.
 
Ogmore Vale RFC v Pontardawe RFCDavid Thomas Hawkins (24-Sep-16) – Two Yellow Cards    
Sending off sufficient.   Mr. Hawkins may continue playing the game. 
 
Bridgend Athletic RFC v Cwmllynfell RFC – Michael Owen (17-Sep-16) – Law 10.4.A             
Having listened to representations from the player, the Panel were satisfied that the sending off was sufficient punishment and the red card will remain on the player’s record (personal hearing).
